Beryllium is a rare and light metal. Copper-beryllium alloys are excellent elastic materials, with unique physical, chemical, mechanical properties -such as high strength, elasticity, firmness and excellent conductivity-. Further characteristics are less elastic lag, absence of magnetism and good corrosion resistance, anti-abrasion and cold resistance. They are widely used to produce electrons, anti-explosive tools, elastic switches, anti-abrasion and corrosion-resistant parts and they are among the most important and essential industrial materials.
