The resins imported by Yupro are suitable for blown film and cast extrusion processes, as well as for the production of rigid packaging.

EVOH - Ethylene Vinyl Alcohol

EVOH (Ethylene Vinyl Alcohol) is a high-performance thermoplastic resin offering excellent barrier properties against oxygen, gases and aromas. Its main application is in packaging, where it is widely used to preserve the organoleptic properties of food and extend the shelf life of products packaged in protective atmosphere.

Yupro supplies EVOH in various molar grades. Thanks to its specific know-how, Yupro can also recommend the EVOH grade best suited to the final application. Main sectors of use:

  • Packaging: mainly used in high-barrier film extrusion (e.g. PE/EVOH/PE, PA/EVOH/PE and PP/EVOH/PP), as well as in the production of trays and bottles

  • Automotive: for the production of fuel tanks

  • Construction: used in the production of underfloor heating pipes

Yupro also manages a dedicated overseas logistics chain for EVOH, delivering the material in the packaging format best suited to each customer's needs.

PP – Polypropylene Resins

Thanks to its strategic partnerships with leading Asian producers, Yupro supplies a complete range of PP (both Homopolymer PP and Random Copolymer PP), providing technical support in selecting the right polymer based on each customer's specific process requirements.

  • PP Homopolymer: characterized by high rigidity and excellent thermal resistance. The ideal material for applications requiring structural and thermal stability

  • Random Copolymer PP (PPR): thanks to the inclusion of ethylene units in the polymer chain, this resin offers improved elastic and sealing properties

PE – The complete range for every application

Yupro offers a complete Polyethylene range, covering the full spectrum of densities and mechanical properties required by modern extrusion and processing operations.

Thanks to our global supply network, we can offer specific grades for every technical need:

  • LDPE (Low Density Polyethylene): ideal for shrink film, flexible packaging and applications requiring excellent processability and appearance

  • LLDPE (Linear Low Density Polyethylene): the ideal choice for applications requiring high puncture resistance and maximum elasticity

  • MDPE (Medium Density Polyethylene) and HDPE (High Density Polyethylene): characterized by high rigidity and moisture barrier properties

Other resins

Thanks to its international partner network, Yupro can also supply solutions for other types of resins:

  • EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate): with varying vinyl acetate content, essential for imparting mechanical and adhesive properties in co-extruded multilayer structures

  • Tie Layers: suitable for ensuring strong, durable adhesion between resins with different chemical properties in co-extrusion processes

  • Compostable resins: PBAT (Polybutylene Adipate Terephthalate) and PLA (Polylactic Acid)
